Free component manufacturing for budding designers
This year, we are once again joining forces with e-gnition Hamburg e.V., the Formula Student team from TU Hamburg, to offer a free PCB assembly service. Every year, the students get the chance to compete with other teams in the biggest international contest for upcoming PCB designers. Each team participating in Formula Student has to construct an autonomous electric race car, and try to impress the jury in the categories of design, performance, project budgeting and marketing. ATP Elektronik GmbH has helped out with manufacturing the parts from the e-gnition team blueprints since 2015.
Fun fact: attracting around 40,000 participants in about 500 teams, Formula Student is the world’s largest annual PCB design competition. The students’ vehicles compete against each other at Hockenheim, Red Bull Ring, Silverstone and other racetracks around the world. A not-to-be-missed event!
